Apple //c VGA Adapter

Just in case people on the board are not aware, Nishida Radio just came out with a VGA Adapter for the Apple //c and //c plus, it works great (I have one) and the price is sensible.
I'm not affiliated but am a happy customer. Smile

Not the same. Maybe I should say 50-pin slot version?

Ah yes... sorry. I didn't catch that it is going in the AUX slot.

Re: Apple //c VGA Adapter

That's a nice piece of work at a reasonable price. It's very convenient to have a II series, or any other retro-computer, on a KVM setup for your main workstation.

Not 100% certain if it's relevant to your Apple II or Plus, but this would likely work all the way back to the A1 Replicas:

I used a handy workaround to put my Laser_128's output onto my 21" Radius CRT back in the nineties. I fed its NTSC output through the TV Tuner Card in my plotter server at work, a Performa_6360. The Quadra_630 and its PPC 6XXX RoadApple descendants in the 630 case work as well.

I was using PC peripherals in a mixed Mac/PC/Laser_128 environment at the time. That worked out great on the Graphic Design Station side of the Triangular desk. The Laser_128 itself was installed with a smaller VGA CRT on the gaming side. I never really pulled the desk away from the huge bay window to expose the PC side as planned. The PC worked out better running it on the KVM Switch from the (ergonomically correct) Mac side on the big Radius CRT.

N.E.way, if you've got any of those critters (hopefully the Tuner Card to go with it as well) in your Mac collection, go for it!

Re: Apple //c VGA Adapter

I think he may be sold out of parts to make the IIc VGA adapter now. His website listed parts on hand to make 5 and now there are 5 orders for them. Just FYI. I guess there is a waiting list if you order and he doesn't have the parts in stock.
