Shreve Systems have these for only $39!!? Why aren't you people snapping them up?
Anyway to the point- seeing as how I'm in Australia and the phone call would be too much hassle, can someone over there give Shreve a call and find out if a) they still have BNIB LC580s and b) if they ship worldwide? I'd really appreciate it!
if they dont let you ship worldwide, I will buy it and ship it for you.
I would love it if someone would do that for me- much easier as I could probably just send concealed cash over in the mail versus trying to work something out with the business... might even be something in it for the buyer... PM me if interested?
I got 3 of them as "NEW" and they were opended and the computer seals were opened as well, when I call to complan they said they test them first and will NOT sell them otherwise. So they ARE NOT NEW! Just to warn all f you.
Thanks!

So, they're in all their original packaging, have all their original, untouched software + manuals, are bright and shiny as if they just rolled off the production line, and have massive lifespans ahead of them? That's not new enough for ya?
The boxes are there but a few of the ones I got had a broke part of plastic where it looked pried open. And the Lable where it says LC 580 is gone, and theres NO OS Disks or CDs. Don't get me wrong Ilove to shop at Shreve Systems, but I would not recomend this item.
I'm gonna have to overlook that because I've been googling for content on these brand-new systems and it's all positive...
So now I'm looking at getting one sent over here- paid for by my mother- as a christmas prezzie.
Anyone gonna help me out here?
Hello,
Update the Shreve Systems Site, they don't say its new any more now it says
"LC 580 $39
Free Claris Works when you mention this ad!
8/800/CD, 33mhz, 68 LC040 processor, 1LC PDS slot,HD
"
Just to let you know.

Go to the 'CPU' page- clearly says new in box.
ok, but remember if the packing is broke of the box is mangled remember I say it could happen. Also remember I like Shreve Systems but, just as a info update.

Have you got any idea what the shipping cost of an all-in-one Mac to Australia is going to be? If it's less than $100 I'll be very surprised.
Yup- good thing I'm not going to be the one paying for it.
