Can anyone help me out here?
I pulled out two corroded SN74LS161 AN chips from an Apple II+. eBay doesn't have any of these up for sale right now, but they DO have SN74LS161 N and DN74LS161 AN chips for sale (from China) - is the D vs S significant here? What about the AN vs N in the chip name?
I also need to replace a corroded DM74LS02 N chip.
What is significant about these chip names / branding that I need to match, and what isn't?
Any help is appreciated!

Are the old once really defect or only corroded... in case of they are only corroded... you can use a simple Fiberglass Scratch Brush to clean their pins... that's all then.

No. It's just important to get 74LS where 74LS were before.

I have to replace about 6 ROM chips, and a bunch of the others...there's corrosion and blue rot around the pins. Additionally, the legs on 2 or 3 of them broke off during removal from the board. I don't think I'm going to try to clean them at this point, I'll just get new ones.
