Howdy, folks!
I have a line on a //gs motherboard, but it doesn't have the internal keyboard connector soldered in. I intend to do a little creative dremeling and standoff moving on a //e enclosure and install it therein.
I have the appropriate pin-row connectors for the internal keyboard connector. Is there anything stopping me from just soldering one in? No ICs missing that are needed or anything?
Thanks! :D
Sounds like you are doing what I did some 13 years ago:

But no, there is nothing else required to get the //e keyboard working once you solder in a header for the keyboard cable.
Beautiful.
Thank you, sir. You are a gentleman and a scholar.
