I've used Daisy Disk (Pro Version) to clear most of the junk off my 2016 MBP W/ Touch Bar, However the ~60GB of "System Storage" Can't be deleted. Even tried the local snapshot deletion and there's nothing there from previous backups. Also double checked iPhone // iPad backups in iTunes and theres none there either. What could it be. Doesn't seem normal to have 60GB OF "System Storage"

I had a similar problem, my 'System' size was being reported at over 80GB.
I noticed that the "System" category appears to be including sandboxed application data, which is stored in ~/Library/Containers/.
I used About This Mac | Storage | Review Files | File Browser to navigate to the folders/files using the most space and found that “Docker“ was growing a file called “Docker.qcow2” indefinitely in ~/Library/Containers/. Deleting the file released 30GB from "System" while "Documents" stayed the same size.
