A while back I posted a blog article entitled "How to: DIY changing the APPLE ][ title" where I described how to change that familiar title you see whenever the computer is turned on.
Now I've just posted a followup article which basically contains a magazine article I had found and read way back in 1983 which I now found again at the Internet archive!
It explains several cool tricks which I hadn't covered in the first article. Interesting stuff thanks to people understanding the value of archiving old computer magazines and sharing them with the world!
Hey there, nice info. I s'pose this far down the track, most people would already know a lot of the clone names were removed so that there were fewer problems with ProDOS. Now you can patch ProDOS to ignore the bytes also, and I think some of the really new ProDOS verisons don't even need patching.
But it might be a trap for someone that doesn't know, so I thought I'd mention it.
