To me looks like the case was especially painted to make it look even older. Maybe to better blend in with radio receiver from the 30s - or just to make the prop look even more mystic. Maybe it's a really well-maintained and good looking Apple /// in real life... ;-)

"I'm pretty sure that the overall design of the Ghostbusters booth was meant to represent Egon's workshop at his old farmhouse in Afterlife. The area on the far right would have been his work area, complete with a very old and worn Apple III computer, which was originally released in the Spring of 1981."
I wasn't certain at first, but the Afterlife referred to is the relatively recent Ghostbusters: Afterlife. There's apparently a subplot about following in the footsteps of the original crew. So it's supposed to be surviving in an old farmhouse, so I think most of the dirt/aging is fake.
And, the fun doesn't stop there! This brought me down a rabbit hole, because the webpage mentions that the pictures in the background are Sony's digitally altered Ghostbuster pictures. That is, Sony has intentionally gone through the original film and publicity photos and digitally blurred anything with a brand name, and even anything that could conceivebly used in branding. Egon's "Radio Shack calculator", the Cadlillac insgnia on "Ecto-1", even the watchfaces on digital wristwatches are blurred. Its laughable, but weird that they would turn around, and for the new movie put the Apple III logo on display (and Hasbro repeats the move with that particular product display booth). I'm wondering if some sort of product placement deal was made, even for a product that hasn't been out for nearly 40 years. I guess that would be "logo placement"? Weird.
I hope that there is a /// in the film itself. That would be brilliant.
Neat to see our loved computers on something like this.
If it is 1981, then it is a bit off. Slow it down to quarter play speed, then pause it at 1:35 (Apple IIe and a DuoDisk) (pause at 1:41 to confirm)
Ah, nice catch. That is ideed a //e and DuoDisk tucked away behind the Ghost Popper.
