WTB Powerbook 100 parts and MacOS 8.1 CD

well, I need a few parts for my recently aquired PB100:

-the three rubber feet on the bottm (the ones that cover the screws.)

-the left riser foot. mine came without one. it has one on the right, but not on the left.

-rear port door. will the one from an 140/150/160/170/180 etc. work? if so, there are about five of them on ebay.

-internal modem. I dont care what speed, I just need one that can go in the expansion bay.

-powerbook SCSI adapter cable. I heard of one kind that has a switch so you can hook it to anonther mac, and use the PB100 as an external drive, or use the cable on a regular DB-25 device.

-powerbook scsi pass through adapter. this one I dont know if it exists. I need one so I can use 2 HDI-30 devices simotaniously.

-a larger SCSI internal hard drive. anything larger than the paultry 40mb one I have now, so I can do my full, clean install of 7.5.3 w/ 7.5.5 upgrade.

-6mb memory module. I know these are hard to come by, but I would like to max the memory out from it's puny 4mb to a whopping 8mb.

And, I also need an OS 8.1 CD, with the 8.0 installer, so I can put 8.1 on my Macintosh LC III.

if you have ANYTHING from my list, please reply. thanks!! -digital Wink

OS 8.1/LC III

Hey

Did I miss something? How are you getting 8.1 on an '030 Mac? Was there chat about a ROM SIMM swap or rewrite that I missed?

Gamba's site info

Hey,

It will go with all those software hacks but frankly even if it does -- unless you just like the idea of it -- it'll be dog slow. To each his own.

faster than an SE

still, it will be faster than the SE. plus, I am currently tracking down a quadra 630 with the 25mhz 040 to replace my 33mhz 030, then I am going to OC the 040 the board. but back to the topic at hand, does anyone have the parts? -digital Wink
