Sawtooth Processor Upgrade

Does anyone have experience with processor upgrades for the sawtooth? I am looking at upping my proc speed and was wondering wheter i should go with Sonnet's Encore/ST or OtherWorld Computing's Mercury Extreme...

I'm looking for around the 1.0 ghz to 1.2 ghz range...

I'm not looking at price right now, just performance.

Thanks for your input

Jason

Performance wise there is no

Performance wise there is no real difference between them. Some Sonnet models reuse the old heatsink and then require more work than GigaDesign/PL/OWC. I have a GD 1.2 GHz and it made a huge difference for my G4/400 that prior to that never worked well in X Acute
I have a dual 1.25 at work and I really can not tell the difference between the two speedwise

I have an OWC in this machine

I have an OWC in this machine. Works fine, just dont buy an already over clocked one (IE: 1.25 tested for 1.4 use). I would stay away from giga right now, until this whole court deal settings between them and power logix. As for sonnet, I cant stand them. They have sold over clocked processors to people in the past without telling them. Anycompany who deceives its customers in this way wont ever get my business.

A couple of pages at which to look

I have an OWC 800mhz upgrade, it's been fine. For performance, maybe there are some articles here that might, or might not, interest you:

And I assume you checked out OWC's own page on performance comparisons.
