Sid chip on Replica 1?

Hello Everyone!  I've been trying to connect a SID or Swinsid to the Replica 1.  I've been having some issues getting it to work and was wondering if anyone has any useful schematics or ideas on how to get this working on the replica 1. I've seen some people attempt this but they never post schematics.  If anyone has any suggestions it would be very appreciated! Thank you!

I just used google to find

I just used google to find that.

Did only find this Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffZs_syonjY of Claudio Parmigianis Adapter.

This is more a proof of concept.

You can connect it to Apple I and get some Notes out of it.

Unfortunatly the Apple I is not only the first Homecomputer with Monitor and Keyboard, it's unfortunatly also the most disabled/handicaped 6502 Computer availible, for Z80 this would be the Sinclair ZX80/81.

For its time that was no problem but know expecting the Apple I do things that the next genereration could do will show you the limits. You can circumvent them with lots of Brain and very clever logic like UncleBernie is trying with his disk interface for the Apple I.

If you want it to play a tune you need to could cycles.

C64 has a timer Chip and Interrupts, without that you can't play .SID files propperly.

That's why the others put also the CIA on the extension.

But it looks like they did not get it to work. http://sampopeltonen.github.io/Vicious/

If you want to see how Commodore connected it just look for the various C64 Schematics availible.

SID-file Player for Microcontroller also emulate the CPU and CIA to play them and control the SID-chip.
