Apple II super serial card Bill of Materials

Does Anyone have a BOM for all the components on the super serial card? I have a faulty one (causes the machine not to boot) and Id like to repair it but I want to know all the components involved.

Thanks.

The manual contains the full

The manual contains the full schematics. That's all you need.

There's not too many components which could prevent the system from even booting when defective. The 74LS245 and the ROM would be the most likely culprits. The 74LS11 repsonsible for device selection/address decoding next.

Just make sure the check for corroded contacts, broken traces and bad soldering contacts first.

The board has some corrosion.

The board has some corrosion. I have a feeling its the ceramix capacitors or tantalum capacitors that are shoritng out.

Right, a dead tantalum would

Right, a dead tantalum would be another classic culprit for creating a short.

(But you won't need a Bill-of-Materials to narrow down a short... :-) )

no, But I just wanted to make

no, But I just wanted to make sure I had all the correct parts on order prior to the repair. This board was a bit grungy as fr as solder goes so Im just going replace alot of the passives anyway. Not sure it has seen a moist environment or what but hte solder is in a terrible state.

The schematic is great in the fact that it lists all the values. I have most of the parts already but want the rest on order.
