Applied Engineering RamKeeper 1.7 eprom

Hello everyone, I'm running some experiments with an Apple IIgs ROM 03 equipped with a RamKeeper (firmware version 1.6) using its original external power supply. Mounted on the RamKeeper I have an Applied Engineering GS-RAM Plus Rev. A configured with 6 MB of RAM and a GW4201D with 8 MB installed on the rear connector. When my ReactiveMicro TransWarp GS is installed, the IIgs does not recognize the RamKeeper. If I remove the TWGS, the RamKeeper works perfectly. I am aware that a firmware version 1.7 EPROM image for the RamKeeper exists. Some time ago, I downloaded an EPROM image that was supposed to be version 1.7. However, when I access the RamKeeper menu, it still reports firmware version 1.6. Also, would downgrading the TWGS from 16 MHz to 10 MHz be worth trying? Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences you can share.
