Anybody have a Prograppler card with cable? I don't care about box or manual. But, would be nice to have the manual. Willing to sell for few $$ and shipping? This card is the latter version that have more features tor the IIE and IIGS. I'll be using it on a IIGS. Thanks, Josh Oh, and I do prefer to use paypal. Make it simple. Also looking for a IIGS Applied Engineering 1.5mb ram card with or without dram chips. I purchased an as is card untested from e-bay and the card is bad. But the chips are good.
Thanks,
Josh
The RAM card is probably repairable... But, frankly, I prefer not to use a vintage card like that. The new production cards that use a much smaller chip count are better for your machine... less power draw, less heat... And you can get 4MB or 8MB cards... I have one of the 8MB cards in my IIgs.
So do you actually have an Imagewriter II? Fun finding ribbons and tractor feed paper these days I imagine. I don't think they made very many of the serial version of those cards. Most people with a IIgs just plugged the printer right into the built in serial port. And most people who had a //e used a plain old SSC card.
Or is the card you are looking for parallel? Like for some kind of Epson or other similar printer? Oki maybe?
It's not terribly hard to get image writer II ribbons in black, it's the color ones that are near unobtanium aside from the few Mac Effects managed to have made.
Tractor feed paper isn't bad to find either, though getting consistent quality from box to box is hit or miss.
No, no apple IIgs computer.
thanks,
Josh
