Looking for a WORKING copy of the Viewmax-80 boot disk

Hello group,

Would anyone have or know where I cn get a working copy of the boot disk for the Micromax Viewmax-80 video card for a ii plus?  There's a 4am crack floating around that crashes and I found a copy of what I believed to be an original disk and that crashed as well. The card PR#3s into 80 columns fine but I'd like to run Applewriter and Visicalc in 80 columns  so I can actually use the card productively. Hopefully someone is famliar with this card and its software.

Thanks

Have you tried to see if it

Have you tried to see if it is compatible with the Videx Videoterm or the ALS SmartTerm?

The card you have has the same CRTC chip as the Videx.

So a Videx 80 column pre-boot disk might work.

Also, there is this disk image of the pre-boot for the actual Micromax:

I tried the link. That’s the

I tried the link. That’s the one I tried before but I tried it again.  The image seems to have gotten worse since I last tried it, this time the disk didn’t even boot to a main screen.   Magic window goes into 80 columns as well as 70 when the drivers are loaded. The vertical position was off the screen and will need to be adjusted but the manual said that’s expected. I tried Zardax  as the manual says it’s supported as well but I guess there’s some hardware mod that has to be done on the kaybosrd so that didn’t go any further.  I did notice when the video was going through the card either 40 or 80 columns I could see vertical lines faintly and I had a hard time getting them out with the contrast and brightness. I don’t have that when the card is out.
