MARCHintosh: The LC475 or... is it a Quadra 605?

In 1993, Apple launched the Macintosh LC475. They also released the SAME machine as the Quadra 605 and Performer 475,

as Apple was experimenting with branding to target different market segments.

But is the LC475 a good machine? Is it a Low Cost machine as it's name implied, or did it live up to its Quadra label?

I know its a minute too late, but,

 

the different brandings weren't just cosmetic.  the qudra 605 had a full 68040 and not a 68LC040 (missing fpu)

 

the other variants were different included software/hardware/hdd sizes.

LOL. There is a jumper on the logic board that selects whether the machine will be identified by the System as a Quadra, or LC. The Gestalt identifier changes based on that jumper.
