Back in November, I picked up a Bambu P2S printer. Since then I've been slowly learning CAD (in Fusion, mainly). And I made a couple simple parts that I don't believe I have seen published before. So, I thought iI would share them with everyone.
First is the middle foot on the bottom of the IIgs monitor. I have a couple monitors and they were all missing these except for one still barely hanging on. So, I reproduced this and printed it in TPU for a slightly rubber-ish feel:
Second is the little "clamp" used for the IIe number pad connector. Apple included a little clamp so that the smaller number pad connector would fit in the large cutout in the back. Without this clamp, the connector wants to flex every time you plug or unplug the connector:
I printed this in PETG, and on it's edge so the layers run horizontally. If I understand correctly, that orientation should make it less prone to breaking. Or, maybe I have that backward? Either way it's very secure on mine. Also, using PETG instead of PLA helps with flex and strength:
And lastly, I picked up an ImageWriter II Sheet feeder. It was missing the wider bracket that helps support the blank sheets at the top. I had zero reference to the original part size/dimensions, so I took measurements off the sheet feeder and tried to model it after pictures I could find. If anyone by chance has a 3D printer and this particular bracket, I'd love if you could compare and find any major differences. It is a small/quick print, so won't eat up much filament. But what I came up with seems to work well to hold the paper up:
Again, I am very new to all of this, so please be kind if I did something stupid in my designs. :) Not sure if anyone will really find these useful, but I wanted to start simple with CAD and had a need for these parts. Plus I wanted to give something back to the community if I could.
Thanks,

Thanks!
Now if you can deisgn some USB backplates?
You mean Like this? Not my design, just found it with a very quick Google search.
