Hi everyone. Big News!
HoneyCrisp Emulator v1.3.3 has been released.
This update focuses heavily on bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and user interface refinements. It also introduces support for Lee Davison's Enhanced BASIC (EhBASIC), adds eight new programs to the Program Catalog, (which has been renamed from Program Library)... redesigns several core interface components, and includes numerous under-the-hood improvements.
Highlights include:
• Added support for Enhanced BASIC (EhBASIC) as a third BASIC interpreter option alongside Integer BASIC and AppleSoft Lite.
• Redesigned the Settings panel with a new two-column layout, grouped configuration sections, and protection against accidentally discarding unsaved changes.
• Reorganized the Control Panel layout, integrated the Help button directly into the terminal frame, improved fullscreen mode sizing, and refined overall interface spacing.
• Program Library has been renamed to Program Catalog throughout the emulator.
• Tutorial progress is now saved between sessions, allowing users to resume where they left off. New tutorial quality-of-life features have also been added.
• The Ctrl+B keyboard shortcut now opens the Program Catalog instead of the File Browser....which was originally a bug left over from v1.1!
• Escape key behavior has been corrected to more accurately emulate original APPLE-1 hardware by issuing a CPU break signal.
• Added eight new programs to the Program Catalog, including Enhanced BASIC, Fig-FORTH, Byte-Shop demos, Star-Trek (2003), and more.
• Numerous program catalog corrections, attribution updates, and bug fixes throughout the emulator.
As always, many additional fixes and improvements are included that may not be immediately visible, but help make HoneyCrisp Emulator more stable and enjoyable to use.
I plan on releasing future annoucements for updates monthly here on AppleFritter if that's okay with you folks. :-)
A large collection of 80 APPLE-1 programs are available via the program catalog. If you haven't ever heard of my emulator project, I suggest checking out the technical documentation linked below.http://landonjsmith.com/projects/hctechdoc_revisionE1.pdf

I like how the documentation mimics the Apple 1 manual, even down to the page number style. :-)
Hi Jeff,
Well, that's what happens when you stay up late for 2 weeks straight studying documentation!
It obviously has a few rough edges. I need to find an IBM-style typewriter font (like F25 Executive) to really make it nice.
I also need to update it to properly match newer features added since the document's last revision....All of which will have to wait until after I get back from Colorado Springs...
Cheers,
Landon
