Need some help with Audio zap

So, I got a 4sonq card and I can not for the life of me get audio zap 2.0 or 1.0 to work with it. I've put every tool I could imagine into the tool folder and no dice. 2.0 just freezes when it loads the finder bar on the top, 1.0 just gives me a message that it needs more tools. so im at a loss here, it just won't work. Also if anyone can tell me where I can get this program without getting it off a .hdv image that would be great too, its a pain in the but to get those things onto floppies.

If it's this card...

https://manilagear.com/product/4soniq-sound-card/

then a couple of software tools seems to be downloadable from there.

See here, too

https://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/sourcecode/4soniq.html

https://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/products/apple2gs/soundsmith/

and use some internet search tools to get more information's... that's what I did.

That's not exactly what I mean. What i'm asking is to get Audio zap working which is what Manilagear Tells me I have to do in the manual. I need this specific program to work to get the audio capture function to work.

What version of GS/OS are you running? How much RAM do you have installed? Where did you source the versions of Audio Zap that you have tried?

6.0.4 on a scsi hard disk, GGlabs 4mb card, and i've tried 1.0 and 2.0 audio zap, one from Whatstheappleiigs.com and the other from the asimov ftp.

Hmm.... you should have no problems running it with that hardware/software combo.

I just ran Audio Zap in GSPort with GS/OS 6.0.3 (my actual IIgs's are not on my desk at present) with no issues. And I don't remember having any issues running Audio Zap on the real hardware (the image I'm using in GSPort probably originated on my real hardware).

Here are the toolsets I have installed (anything above 38 you can probably ignore as they are not Apple toolsets):
Tool014
Tool015
Tool016
Tool018
Tool019
Tool020
Tool021
Tool022
Tool023
Tool025
Tool026
Tool027
Tool028
Tool029
Tool034
Tool035
Tool038
Tool054
Tool069
Tool128
Tool129
Tool219

Other than that, maybe try shift-booting (hold down shift when booting into GS/OS) to disable all NDA's and CDA's that would otherwise be loaded during GS/OS startup and then try running Audio Zap again.

Report back and let us know the results.

If you're still having issues I can setup my ROM01 IIgs with my HS SCSI to simulate your working environment, but as I mentioned, I don't think I've ever had any issues before.
