PowerBook 190cs prototype?

I have a PowerBook 190cs that I got from an older man who worked for Apple for many years. It is stamped PowerBook 5300 on the bottom with no serial number or other details, but it has PowerBook 190cs stamped on the screen bezel, and it has a glossy reflective screen. There are a few other small details here and there that I can't think of off the top of my head that seperate it from others, but if need be I can get pictures of everything. Anyone know if this is a prototype computer? or just identity confused?
