I've only been back with the Apple II about 2 weeks. I came across this Titan card, found the manual and installed it in the a Apple II+. It boots fine, loads integer, etc. I tried on a word processing program and it does seem a tad faster, especially with scrolling.

What's you thoughts on this card?

My understanding is that while it has the same mhz speed as the AE TransWarp, it only speeds up the motherboard RAM. The Transwarp copies the ROM onto the card and uses the it's own RAM in place of the Motherboard and first two 64k banks of Aux RAM. Still a nice card to have.
Of course in a II or II+ it's probably closer as you have no Aux RAM.

Re: Titan Accelerator IIe

Thanks. I checked around and this is what I found out. It's 80K total. Of this: 48K replaces the lower ram, 16K acts like a typical language card and 16K stores a copy of the ROM in memory. It's an interesting card but I really don't think I need it. I'll continue to play around with it a little more.

Odd observation: it works fine in two AppleII+s and a IIe I have. I do have second IIe where it does not work- produces a bunch of lines on the screen at boot. I like to understand why this happens so I'll probably keep it until I figure why it doesn't work in this one IIe.
