I've never seen it before - Is it original? What is it used for?

He's just hawking the 6820 (PIA or parallel port) chip on the board which happens to be one of the parts for an Apple I. Since it has an appropriate date code I guess it is worth $75 to someone.

Many other boards of that era (including my own clock card designs) also used this chip.
