my disfunctional ibook!!

not to long ago i purchased a used ibook from one of my buddies, about a month into having it the screen would spaz out and eventually just shut off. the screen does not turn on at all anymore. if anyone knows what this is i'd greatly appreciate suggestions on what to do with it. thanks!

It may be as simple as a loose cable. Or, it could be one of the iBooks that are covered under the repair recall Apple has. What model is it? A colored clamshell shaped one, or a white rectangle?

Check your serial number against those in the following article. It'll tell you if you have an iBook elgible for logic board replacement from Apple. From the symtoms, it sounds possible.
