I just dug out my //c to get some stuff setup to let my child play with, and I found that the Control key is loose. I took apart the //c to discover that the top of the keyswitch has come apart and the only thing keeping the key in place is the key underlay that is built-in to the //c. I need to know how to get the cap back on, or somehow get it back together. I don't wanna pry on the keys much until I know how they come off. I can get the bottom (toward the user) side of the key cap to latch back on, but the top side might either be not latching or broken. I I use the key too much, the bottom pops loose again. Not good for the kids!
Also, any software suggestions for the 3yo range? Something noisy and flashy with all kinds of colors would work, so ong as it's got some stuff I can use in it to teach her with. She relyl likes typing on the keyboard, and can take direction to press a few keys as I name them for her.
