F/S - Olivet iPack Backpack with integrated controls for iPods with remote connectors.

For sale is a new, completely unused, with original tags iPack Backpack by Olivet. It includes an internal padded holder for an iPod and a headphone/remote connector to plug into the iPod. This allows one to use the ElekTex fabric controls built in to the left shoulder strap to control your music. It only works with iPods that have remote connectors, so 5G iPods (Video and Nano, and Shuffle) won't work. I have tested it with my 3G 20GB iPod, and it works great. The headphone port on the shoulder strap latches the plug VERY securely. It seems to be comfortable and has several extra pockets, for change pens, and misc. There is a compartment for books and notepads, etc, and a seperate zippered and velcro strapped padded compartment that has a laptop holder and has the iPod holder. The iPod holder is reminscent of the original Apple case I got with my 3G, but is actually padded and seems to have overcome the scratching stitching mistakes Apple made.

NOT MY AUCTION, INCLUDED FOR PHOTO EXAMPLES ONLY
The same backpack on eBay

These retail for $59.99 (and this includes the original price tag still attached)

I'm selling for $40 + actual shipping by shipper of your choice. The bag is approx. 1'x2'x6", and could probably be stuffed into a 1'x1'x1' box. It will ship from 64053 or a near by Zip code. Reply by PM.

Newer bags with support for 5

Newer bags with support for 5th Gen iPods are available at Target for $59.99. I'll take $25 + shipping for mine that support iPods with remote connectors (ie pre-video iPods). I have two available, both brand new.

There is an instruction booklet that comes with it. You need to hold the Lock/FFW button for a few seconds to unlock the buttons. They will relock in 7 seconds of inactivity.
