Wallstreet HD

Hello ,
I bought a 20 GIG Toshiba HD as an upgrade for my Wallstreet.
Problem is the new Toshiba is only 3/8 " thick and when installed in the HD cage it does not seat / make contact.
Original HD is 5/8 " thick.
New drive works fine if not installed in the cage, I tried shims etc...
Any Ideas?
