Anyone know of any PCI-X 3GBps SATA card that I could use with my MDD? It needs to be under $200, but doesn't have to have external ports. I would prefer something with all internal ports, then I can always get a PCI plate to make some external. I would like it to have four ports internal, and it must be 64bit PCI. (PCI-X)

Thanks!

64-bit PCI != PCI-X

64-bit PCI != PCI-X

You'd have PCI-X if you have an early G5. PCI-X card should work, but only at regular 64-bit 33MHz speeds.

So the MDD G4 doesn't have PC

So the MDD G4 doesn't have PCI-X? I never realized that. I assumed that the bigger slots where PCI-X. Well, as the old saying goes, "you learn something new every day."

Well, anyway, i found a 3GBps Sonnet Tempo for under $200, so I think i'll buy that. Thanks.
