ibook motherboard selection

have my ibook g3 in parts now since the original board has no ethernet port and the gpu fried. anyone have suggestions on a good g3 board that will fit this 12" model? originally, it was a 2002 700mhz model. i'm hoping maybe there's a particular motherboard out there that doesn't have as severe gpu issues as most (however i have access to a VERY large pile of parts including small gpu heatsinks at school). another option, i am considering adapting the case and tray load drive to fit a g4 frame with the board and heatsink, but i figure that would be much more difficult. just need suggestions.
