I haven't had to troubleshoot a dead iMac in oh, about 6 years, so I'm a little rusty. Anyway, I gave my niece a tray-loading iMac 233 (grape, so I think that makes it a Rev. B?) a few years back and it's been working fine until about a month ago. Right now, it's in a state where the "guts" power on, but right when the display would come on, it cuts out completely. So, I get the startup chime, then a second or two later, it dies. I think this is basically a power supply problem, but I can't recall what the actual "name" of the power supply is for this model. I'm thinking "A/V Board" or "Analog Board", something like that. Any ideas??
