NovaServer

I'm looking at my old box of Novaserver Software and was wondering if i set it up as a Web Server running off my Quatro 850 or PM6500, if there would be any interest in it. I can set up forums and maybe a file library for older mac files (shareware of cause) etc. Let me know what you guys think. Me and tom used to run this software a while back, before it became extinct.

Hmmm... no comments, guess it

Well after serious consideration, and besides i have a PowerMac 6500 doing nothing but sitting here i decided to set up the Novaserver board, so if anyone is interested you can download the client from here :

ftp://files.tidbits.com/info-mac/_Communication/novaterm-404.hqx

It should work with MOST macs upto MacOS 9.2.2 / Classic

Or you can also telnet to the server and download the client & server file for a quicker logon.

I also have a PC version but was only tested to Windows 98. If your interested PM me here.

The server address is blackscorpion.no-ip.org and if you can't get on keep trying i'm still tweaking it.

Disregard

I reconsidered the limitations and decided to go with FirstClass instead. Anyways the BBS is up and running. Still tweaking it. I have some of the 68k files up if your interested just log in guest/guest with your browser or FirstClass Client. Did i mention it's FREE?:)
