Apple IIe question. Can I use an Apple IIc keyboard to work with a IIe? The keyboards end with the same connector (not 2x8).

Short answer, NO, long answer, yes.

The IIc keyboard is not pin-to-pin compatible with the IIe.
Check out what I had to do to get a IIc keyboard to work on a ROM 1 IIGS.

The ROM 1 can use the same keyboard that is on the IIe.
