Ok Folks,
I have been googling for information about Sound Cards for the G4 MDD. This is for stereo playback only. I do not need MIDI connections or anything like that. I even checked out the MDD Forum here and several other G4 Mac sites.
I found what seems to be a good card from M-Audio, but they want an arm, a leg, and your first born child for it.
Does anyone know who manufactures a Mac G4 MDD compatible PCI sound card?
Thanks
I've got a Miromotion DC30+. Excellent card. Does video and sound. They're no longer produced, but you can probably find one on eBay for a reasonable price if you watch the auctions. I picked mine up there for very cheap ($30, but I may have just been very lucky). Most important, though, make sure the composite in and out dongle comes with the card.
Here's the card (write-up 1998):

And here's a great driver someone wrote for it:

There's always the USB iMic too if you just need basic output.
Thanks Cruiser. I found two of these cards up on eBay new in the box. I have to make sure it includes the dongle as you say before I shell out the $99.00 asking price though.
