Hello, here is the challenge :
I have a Sony HS10 projector it has a fantastic pictures with DVI input
I use my Powerbook 667DVI to play DVDs
BUT there is a problem while its has WXGA panels, I can use only computer mode in XGA mode.
There is a special Video mode listed in the HS10 manual
its 1366x768, 56HZ
In the Wintel word, HS10 owners can only enable this mode using a video hacking program that allows to choose freely the video parameters of for instance, an ATI7500 based videocard.
This program is called PowerStrip and I could not find anything doing the same thing for the Mac
.Is there some mac genius here that knows how to hack the ATI software driver to add a new WXGA mode to the HS10. I have found there is a table inside the driver that lists all possible modes.
Waiting for your ideas.
PS I have found this on the net
discussing about video modes of HS10
