Hey everyone!! If any one out there in Applefritter-land has any idea how to get any of the old Bookwares PB 1400 bookcovers, or if you have one yourself that you would part with, I would pay generously for it. The only one I wouldn't consider would be the solar cover, but any other would be a treat!!
Likewise, if anyone has seen them on the web recently, then please link it in this thread!!

i tried. valiantly, to get some of these for my 1400 but they are either 75$ on ebay(final bid) or they are sold as part of a package WITH a powerbook and a bunch of accsesories the one i wanted was the solar panel(really) but its only been sighted once on ebay a few years ago and it sold for an amazing amount of money. if you do find where to buy them, repost a topic saying where
Wow! I hadn't seen those things before. That would be a cool addition to a 1400. I've got one -- retired from work, and now my kids use it -- and I'm pretty sure I still have the original translucent cover replacement with the cardboard inserts. I think the sw installer disk that came with it also had some templates so you could make your own. Any interest in that?
I already have the templates and disk and the clear bookcover. Nothing beats the real thing, though. Anyone else out there have any ideas?
yeah, ive got some covers that came with my 1400. I don't know about "Bookwares" ones though.
Mine are all in *mint* condition (i dont even think the previous owner opened the pack!)
Each one has a graphic on the front and a different colors on the back. There are 7 in total.
