I have recently come in to possession of a g3 ibook motherboard. I can get it to boot from a battery, however when i plugin the power supply it shuts off. It will not turn on with the power supply plugged in.
Any advice, i really would like to make a cool mod with this board.
Sounds like PMU is damaged?
How about putting the same voltage the batterys supply derectly into the mobo through the battery connectors, using another power supply?
Does anyone have a battery pinout?
