I just pickup a Studio display model 7768.. The one with the clear case. It's got a ADC connector. I connected it to my DA PM g4 with a ATI9000. It powered up fine. The color is a little off. White appears with a good tint of pink in it. I used the calibrate function with OSX to calibrate to automatically. The calibration sequence would fail and default restored. I tried the manual calibration, I can't get the pink out.
Any idea what is the cause and is it worth fixing? I liked the nice clear case. But, it big compared to a LCD monitor.
Any help is appreciated.

Do you have the white point level set at 9300? If less it could look a little funky.
Ya, I had it as high as it will go. Still looks fairly pink on the white. I had it turn on so high that it start to distort the lines, It shouldn't be doing that.
Just checked with the local used Mac shop. I can get a used one for $119+tax with a 1 year warranty from the store. I guess it's point less to fix the one I got.
