I've got an iMac DV whose CRT is dying... I'm guessing it's thewell-know overheating problem, but at this point, I'm more than happy to just hook it up to an external LCD.
The question is, what connections do I need to disconnect, so that the internal CRT is dead? I'm not all that worries about taking it out-- I just don't want it running, sucking up energy and generally being annoying with its flickering screen.
Does anyone have any advice they could impart on what bits I need to disconnect? Thanks!
