PowerMac 6100/ADB Mouse II Mod Questions...

I'm thinking about doing some pretty serious mods to my PowerMac 6100 and I have a few questions about some of the things I have in mind.

1. How do you properly (as in, without breaking anything) disassemble the ADB Mouse II for painting?

2. I would like to carve out an Apple logo in the cover of my 6100 and install an acrylic window. Is this possible without compromising the structural integrity of the cover?

3. Is it possible to rig up EL/neon/cold cathode lights in a 6100? If so, are there any power/heat issues I should be aware of?

ummm.... Question?

I didn't know that the 6100 was large/tall enough to put Cathodes in it.

on question 2....

I don't think it should affect the structural integrity of the case...
BTW where would you put it..
(i.e.: front/back/sides/top?

EDIT: I just saw the question 2 again and meant to say.. Top or sides?

It'll be a tight squeeze, but

It'll be a tight squeeze, but I think I can make the lights fit.

I want to put the window in the top. Obviously, I won't be able to put my monitor on top of the case anymore, but that's not really a problem.

I want to put the window in the top.

Then it shouldn't be a problem.

Have at it, and post pics. when you are done.

If I can get my hands on a decent digital camera by the time I'm done, I'll definitely post some pics.

Thanks for your help.
