Oh I really like that. Did you paint the sides on the inside, or did you paint the outside?

the paint was all done on the outside. krylon semi-flat black and krylon gloss white. 3 coats on everything. total project time was about 5-6 hours work from starting to take apart till it was painted, dried and reassembled. the krylon paint is great because its cheap and very good quality in function and look. it also dries in about 30 min. you have to take pretty much everything but the power supply out to easily get all the plastics off without breaking or scratching everything. the insides are all quite easy to get at and remove. its even easier to put it all back together.

the white is much more glossy in person.

Acute Very true. That's probably what was niggling at me when I first saw the paint job...something sci-fi, I knew, but for the life of me I kept thinking Space: 1999.

That's really well done! The black on the inside of the handles is a subtle touch that really makes it work. Amazing what a lick of paint can do in the right hands.

Hmmm...to further the Star Wars analogy to the ridiculous...Jango Fett was the progenitor of all the Stormtroopers, right? His armour was *very* much the colour of a graphite G4. Wink

Panther theme

Nice work! Might I suggest the "Chocolate Milk" theme for Panther - available from www.maxthemes.com? It's very fitting.

Awesome job! Do you have the matching blue CRT monitor? Did you paint it at well - or are you planning on painting it? That, plus a matching keyboard/mouse would look very cool.
