A H U G E Favor!!

Hey!

Recently I've come into posession of the classic "game" "Mind Mirror" by the one & only Timothy Leary.
Problem is it's on 5.25 floppies. [!!!]
I'd rather not spend the time & money hunting down a 5.25 floppy drive.
So, here's the favor: could someone be so kind as to transfer the 2 discs to a 3.5 floppy for me?
I'll send the 5.25 discs in the mail + $5 for your
time & trouble.

Thanks In Advance!

Game

Are you sure that it is an Apple-compatible
game? If so, don't you have a 5 1/4" drive?
They are not that expensive. Try the buy/sell
thread here. Also, don't let that game get
too far away! ANYTHING T. Leary is extremely
collectible. what you might want to do is
make copies of the 5 1/4 disks and send them
out to be transferred to 3 1/2 disks.

Just a thought. "Everyone is famous for 15 minutes."

My version was for the IBM

Gee, I still have my original copy of the program that I bought new at a local computer store back in the mid 80s! There might have been an Apple version, but mine is definitely early PC (I seem to remember it used CGA graphics).

T. Leary

Andy Warhol, I'm afraid.

Mr. Leary's 15 minutes were for "turn on, tune in, drop out". Well, that and a hefty consumption of pharmaceuticals.;)

But yes...do everything to save those original floppies!

Hey!Sorry for the delay

Hey!

Sorry for the delayed response!

Absolutely I'm sure it's an Apple compatible game!
For the "Apple ][e", actually!
Got 2 of 'em -- 1 still in the shrinkwrap [as a collectible]& the 1 I opened so I could check it out and also have copied.

As I said -- the reason I don't wanna spend the money on a 5 1/4 drive is 'cause I only need it just for this ONE thing, and I think that'd be a waste of money now matter HOW cheap it is.
I'd rather just send the 2 floppies to someone who already HAS a 5 1/4 drive & let THEM copy it for me and then I'd just pay 'em for their time & trouble.

And ANYTHING Timothy Leary is extremely collectible, you say?
Hmmmm....
Well -- if THAT'S the case, lemmee give ya a tip....

Just go here > http://www.oldsoftware.com/apple2.html
"Mind Mirror" [MINT condition!]is 15th from the top.
They've got a whole BUNCH for just $5!
In fact, the reason I have TWO is because I bought one, and then my whole order was over a certain amount so they threw in the other one for free -- that's their "Spend-A-Certain-Amount-And-Get-THIS-Free" giveaway -- even though I had bought one outright.
I think to get the free "Mind Mirror" you have to order like $40 or more worth of stuff.

And don't worry -- it's not gonna get TOO far away from me!
I'm a BIG fan of Dr. Leary's AND Apple computers, so when the 2 get together, needless to say, I'm in heaven! lol

Thanks for your input!

Happy Holidays!
