Any way to do this? Got a few with broken cables. A shame to waste them.

I don't know how good it is, or if it is entirely correct, but...
Be warned, you may not be able toput it back together.
not a takeapart, but perhaps useful none-the-less:

and another very geeky page detailing the variable spring tension mechanism:

there are a few things you can do better. first you do not need to cut the usb cable second you do not need to cut the plastic ring around the bottem of the mouse. to avoid this follow the instructions but don't cut the usb cable. when he says to cut the bottem ring instead you must wedge a knife or something thin between the ring and the gray/white bubble (if you look at the mouse from the top, with the clear bubble removed, you can see the seam). the ring is glued on in several places. if you go slow you can remove the ring without damaging the rest of the mouse. once the ring is removed you can fully take the mouse apart. to put it back to gether you must glue it back in place but be careful because to much glue could jam up the mouse.
Thanks for the replies. Got one working again. Now onto the other 5
