No Love?

No love for my post about replacing an LCD screen vs replacing the whole upper lid? and p.s., just how much might that void my applecare?

But the obvious question is... if you still have AppleCare then why not get Apple to fix it for free?

would love to tom, but best that i can tell so far, applecare doesnt cover this sort of accidental damage. you know anything I dont as far as getting them to help on this sort of thing? thanks

actually,

apple doesn't warrant anything that has been replaced by the consumer, so even if you replace the screen by yourself, they will still warrant the rest of the computer..
