Ok, so I've got a 5200 with a dead PRAM battery (the square one in the plastic case with the wire leads on it) and I'm too cheap to spend $10 on a new one. After all, that'd be $10 more than I paid for the computer! Does anybody see any harm in strapping together three alkaline AAA's, wiring them in series, and use the wire harness from the dead battery to replace the spiffy (but dead) little RayoVac?
