Ask for a serial# of the Mac.
A fellow Mac nut gave me this link:

('Course, now I'm putting the #'s of all my Macs in there out of curiousity ::) )

Not to sound evil or anything, but I've a couple questions: one, when I went to the link the main page itself was unfortunately in a language other then English...so manuvering around wasn't easy, and the second question is, do you know of any site that for certain describes where to find the serial number on each type of computer? I'm going on the basis that in other companies and contractors, they love to hide the Contractor's tag and intel all over the place! ah well, just curious
When I click the link all I get is a page that says "That serial mumber does not make sense."
Yeah, unfortunately it doe snot like older Macs...
EDIT: wups, there's somtin wrong with teh site..
