i've screwed up my monitor setting in Linux Redhat 9 Enterprise Ed. I can get the emergency function level in the os (text only) the problem is i need to know how to get to the settings so i can fix them.

The file you need to edit is XF86config or something similar. I'm not at a linux box at the moment so I can't check for sure of the file name. The file is in ./etc or ./etc/X11.
run Xconfigurator from the command line. Note: it's case sensitive.
