I bought an 867 titanium (dvi) and I woke up one morning to find out that half the display was weird lines and color. This starts at about the latch and is this way until the end of the screen. I thought it was the display data cable (some of the micro coax cables were obviously stripped of insulation) I replaced the cable, but still had the same problem. Any ideas? Oh, and it displays out through the dvi port ok.

Please help,I'm really in a bind here. I've just bought the thing and this happened. It's funny, because this is like the one fix I can't do myself.
Can you post a picture of the problem screen?
Lacking that, based on your description probably the LCD itself has failed, or it could the logic board. Not much help I know, but without more info . . .

Ok, will do that soon. The thing is with no data cable connected, it displays a full white screen. The picture is split precisely down the middle. The right hand side is fine, the left displays fields of green seperated by lines. The split happens at about the latch all the way down the bottom.
