Check out the image link. It appears Tiger doesn't like the AFP structure of OS 8.1 (which is what is on my Mystic. Interestingly, 8.1 likes Tiger, just not vice versa.

Tiger has a lot of problems with networking of all kinds. There is actually an admitted bug in the kernel that Apple says they will fix in the next update.
I'll wait until ".3" before I install it...
But that's just me.
