I just got a new GeForce TI 4600 for my 733 Mhz 2002 Quicksilver (its the EDU Quick') and when I open to the desktop, I get black squares all over the screen. But when I change the screen size, it is fine. I don't want to go back to my GeForce 2MX... IT SUCKS!

wow tommy, thats a lot of help you're offering. so, what's the point?
which os version is running on your machine? did you already try to search for newer drivers on the internet?
Does anyone know what is wrong?
what is the AGP Speed on the card as well as the G4. or is it a PCI (I'm not sure if there is a PCI version.) also, have the latest firmware updates. I have had problems with computers having wierd display problems, just because a card is newer than the BIOS rev. You might also want to see if there is any jumper settings on the card. There might be some jumpers that set backwards compatibility. Also, if the card is under warranty USE NVIDIA's TECH SUPPORT!!! they have one for a reason. They have probably run into the problems before. They might even secretly have a update for the card
