What's the deal with all the profile information being "kept private and will not be shown publicly"?
Surely, as this information is optional, it should be up to the user if the info is available... if they don't want it to be public then they can simply not fill it in! I can see the reason for keeping email addresses private, but AIM/ICQ addresses too?!? Surely the whole point of people providing this info is so that others can contact them!
IMHO all the information on the "Profile Information" screen should be made public, though maybe changing all the address fields to a single "Location" field might make it abit better as it won't encourage users to give out their street address. You could even add an "email" field to this page so the user could decide whether they release their email address, I'm sure some people are happy to do so.

I've made most of them public. I've left "Birthday" and "Address" as private. Tom, if you've got any problems with it, let me know.
I believe this was a result of the Drupal upgrade in January.
