Connecting to AF

All of a sudden I'm having problems with connecting to AF from my computer at home (G4 933MHz running 10.3.9, hooked up to a DSL model with a built in firewall). With either Safari or IR (whatever version is installed with 10.3) they both try to connect to AF without any luck but they don't seem to time out (I get the little AF logo in front of the URL line).
This started few weeks ago but I don't know what caused it and it doesn't seem to apply to any other websites that I normally visit.

Any idea of what could be causing this?
