looking for the name of an a robot game

I'm trying to remember the name of a game I used to play years ago. It was a top down turn-based game where you controlled robots and could battle against the computer or against opponents over a network.

You'd set our your robots, and assign them various actions with a time limit for each turn. When all players had set up their turns the game would compile the events for that turn and play them back as a movie you could watch. You would then proceed to set up the next turn, etc.

I remember the theme was it was a tv game show because the game started with a fuzzy tv screen that would 'tune-in' to the name of the game.

Does anybody remember this one?
